What We Believe.
We believe that Jesus is head of the church (Ephesians 1:22)  and God has called us to be the “church” (Ephesians 2:21-22).
We are just a part of  His bigger picture, therefore we should be about His work and partner for the Kingdom locally and worldwide.
We believe that that God has strategically located us (Acts 17:26-27) to impact those around us. This starts in the North End, but includes Yuma and the world.
We believe that Jesus came to undo the works of the Devil and proclaimed His intentions for Himself and us when He read from Isaiah in Luke 4:18-19,
“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom to the captives and recover of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
  • Love John 13:34-35“I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
  • Prayer John 15:7-8“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”
  • The Word 2 Timothy 3:16-17“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
  • Reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:18-20“Everything is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation…Therefore; we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us.”
  • Discipleship Matthew 28:18-20“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
  • Missions Acts 1:8“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
